I live just 5 miles from the Carrick village of Straiton and my husband and I often enjoy the trails around the village. I painted this landscape in 2018 and it’s also the inspiration for our brand and logo. The skyline is a beauty, featuring the Straiton Monument which is dedicated to Lieutenant Colonel James Hunter Blair.
