A very lucky lady to have spent a holiday cruising around Japan this month.
It is such a vibrant, colourful and clean country.
I enjoyed embracing the Tokyo underground, a 14-minute ride on the Shinkansen (bullet train), chopsticks, a Matcha tea ceremony wearing kimonos, a local pottery and paper lantern sculptures which stood 20m high.
Also the first time I have stayed in a hotel where not only did they have labels to hang on your door for “clean my room” and “do not disturb”, but one which said “I am safe” which you pop out in the event of an earthquake!
