SLA 083 – Culzean Castle
Created on a small 20cm x 20cm canvas board for a client who wished to have the majestic Culzean Castle painted in purple hues (my favourite colour).
SLA 049 – Mull of Galloway Panorama
The second of two large commissions painted for a client on 1m wide stretched canvas. The view is of the Mull of Galloway and the most southerly point of Scotland.
SLA 048 – Isle of Arran Panorama
A large commission 1m wide of the Isle of Arran from the North Ayrshire coastline. The highest peak is Goatfell at 874m and is one of four Corbetts on the island.
SLA 032 – Greenan Castle
On the beach and the spot of a marriage proposal which the Ayrshire based couple wanted captured on canvas for their home. A vibrant painting which I thoroughly enjoyed creating in water mixable oils.
SLA 031 – Dolphin House
A different view of Culzean and with a focus on the Dolphin House, the original laundry for the estate. Painted as a commission in 2020 for a couple who I had organised their wedding at the Castle back in 2016.

A tranquil scene of the granite rock off the Ayrshire coastline and which I have sailed around on the Waverley paddle steamer.
SLA 020 – Reflective Culzean
The dramatic view of cliff-top Culzean Castle as seen from Croy beach. I love this painting, it's one of my favourites as I enjoyed creating the soft reflections in the sea water below. This artwork is now proudly hanging on a wall in Canada.
SLA 015 – Church Walk Bridge
A view often appreciated along the Straiton village walks beside the Water of Girvan and where I have spotted kingfishers. I used this scene to create a black and white painting in acrylic ink.
