At the weekend I attended an artful migration walk and workshop organised through Upland.
We met a Galloway & Southern Ayrshire Biosphere officer on a guided walk through an old oak woodland at Loch Trool within the Galloway Forest park.
Soaked to the skin, but thankful I was wearing boots and a poncho, we then headed to the Glentrool Hive to create a migratory bird from clay lead by local artist Joshua Williams.
A fascinating and educational day, loved it!
