It is a category A listed castle and is the home of the Duke and Duchess of Buccleuch and Queensberry.

The Scottish castle also featured in the historical drama Outlander as the Duke of Sandringham’s estate.

The 38mm deep edge surround of the canvas has been painted as an extension of the landscape.
